Welcome! We're the Pocahontas County Democratic Executive Committee, your direct connection to the West Virginia Democratic Party. We provide resources to Democratic Party candidates and information to voters.
Committee Members elected in 2026
Northern District: Dawn Baldwin Barrett, Bob Sheets, Jay Lockman.
Central District: Tracy Samples, Jody Mohr, Zed Weatherholt.
Southern District: Jay Miller.
The Committee meets the third Monday of every month, 5pm at McClintic Library in Marlinton. Our meetings are open to the community--please join us! During this important election year, we'll be focused on supporting local and state candidates, increasing voter awareness of the critical issues facing our county, and registering new voters.
